I have a real treat for you this afternoon, with this absolutely gorgeous styled shoot from Anastasiya?s Blooms and Kelley Williams Photography. The shoot took place in November last year at Bixby Bridge, Big Sur, California and it’s a stunning mix of Bohemian detailing with Indian henna and traditional dress. The colours are rich, deep and full of life, as is the gorgeous styling and decoration. The amazing Californian backdrop finishes this shoot off beautifully. I’m sure it will get you reaching for your picnic basket right away.
?It was so much fun and very hands on because not so many vendors were involved. But we knew we wanted to do a shoot that’s not typical and would stand out since it’s more unique.?

Florist and stylist Anastaysia who came up with the concept for the shoot says: I?m constantly browsing Instagram, pinterest, Facebook, Google on new ideas for shoots or to just get the creative juices flowing for my own projects and I’ve always loved the Indian styled weddings/events. They are always so vibrant with colour and just look like a good time! I wanted to do a shoot to kind of recreate a mini multi-cultured photoshoot.

My inspiration behind it was a post I saw on Instagram. A photographer I admire posted an engagement session with a couple wearing traditional Indian clothes and it just sparked the idea I had for a picture where I wanted the girl to have beautiful henna on her hands while holding one of my bouquets.
