If I were to get married again, there would definitely be disco balls, lots and lots of disco balls! So when this 70s themed styled shoot landed in my in box, and I saw it was full of disco balls I just knew I had to share it with you as soon as possible. The shoot took place on 27th September 2023 at The Seventy Five in Hocking Hills, Ohio. Gabriella Sutherland Photography was the brain child behind this ‘Disco Balls and Vinyl’ shoot and worked with an incredible team to bring her vision to life. I love the use of the mini vinyl and the full size ones to create the table plan, place mats and all the cute touches like the cake. A  fun, cheeky play on the 70s theme, that would work well in many a wedding or celebration.

I love how the muted colours match my editing style and the edgy vibe that the 70s era brings. The couple who modelled for me (Cole and Kiersten) had a natural, edgy 70’s vibe that fit perfectly for my vision. I knew when I was designing the shoot that I wanted to incorporate disco balls and vinyl’s, two things that are very popular in the 70s vibe weddings. We used two sized vinyl’s for the tablescape, a small size for the “favours” for guests and large sized vinyl’s for the “chargers” to add something a little different and inspirational for future couples who love this vibe.
