Last year, I was SO on top of holiday gifts. I kept a google doc of potential gifts for the various people in my life that I knew we wanted to buy for, and every time I either thought of something that they needed or wanted, or heard them mention something that they coveted, I texted myself and then added it to the list when I got home. Once Black Friday rolled around, I was set. It was total bliss.
For whatever reason, I didn’t learn my lesson this year. It’s been an absolutely bananas fall, and that organized list I once had was just a thing of the past. Luckily, where I’ve failed, the hive has picked up my slack! If you search “keepsake wedding invitation” at Etsy, you’ll come up with a bunch of ways to preserve or showcase wedding invitations. It takes a while to cut through the noise to find ideas that are really nice, though. I’ve seen some great wood burned options, but by far my favorite is this Traditional Copper Wedding Invitation Plaque from CopperArtDesigns on Etsy. They take a couple’s invite and etch it into copper, so that you can showcase it forever in your home.
