We’ve all been at bridal showers where they serve champagne and rosé and while none of us are complaining about those options, it’s always fun to mix it up! A refreshing cocktail is the best tool for beating the heat at summer bridal showers. Seriously, is there a better way to keep your guests happy"! Try one of these unique cocktails.
Limoncello & Lavender Prosecco (Yields 5 servings)
For the syrup:
1 cup water
1T lavender flowers
1 cup honey
½ c granulated sugar
For the drink:
1 cup limoncello liquor
1 (750ml) bottle of prosecco
lavender sprigs for garnish
lemon slices for garnish
Make the lavender infused simple syrup by bringing the lavender flowers plus the water to a boil over medium heat. Next, add the honey and sugar and stir until it is dissolved. Set this aside and let it cool.
In a pitcher, combine the liquor, prosecco and simple syrup and stir. Pour over ice into each glass and garnish with a sprig of lavender and a lemon slice.
Frosé (Yields 5 servings)
1 (750ml) bottle of rosé
½ cup lemon Italian soda
