Oh bridal shower season, how we adore this most celebratory time! Our gal Ashley of The House of Gather is here today sharing a few of her pro bridal shower planning tips, along with the beautiful all-white shower she styled for bride-to-be Jenny. Think olive branch, cute desserts, a beautiful venue, and one epic grazing table. Thank to Laura Palacios for sharing all the lovely photos!

This epic grazing table was created by The Avenue in Miami, for all you South Florida locals. Ashley dreamt up the floating floral install for above the table, creating a focal point and a spot for mingling.

Outsource! When you are hosting a party at your home don’t be afraid to ask for help. Do the things you love and enjoy and then bring in the experts to execute the rest! The Avenue Miami blew my mind with their meat and cheese display, and they are super affordable! The price ends up being just a little more to hire them to come in and do their magic compared to going to the store and doing a grazing table yourself. 

Keep it simple. Design can be beautiful without going over the top. Jenny had a color story and we incorporated simple florals, a dry floral installation, and simple signage to tie it all together. The food and desserts really spoke for themselves.
