5 Inexpensive Honeymoon Destinations You Might Not Think of
Some couples put much more thought into the honeymoon than the wedding. I have to admit: that was me! I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to see a good portion of the world on a relatively tight budget. In fact, there are a lot of honeymoon destinations that are a bit more budget-friendly, you you can stretch your funds. Whether you’re a little more beachy or a cultural couple, there are great destinations that don’t require great big budgets.
1. Thailand
Going to the beaches of Thailand may seem a bit cliched, but there is a good reason for it: you can find four-star amenities for two-star prices. Now, the plane tickets will probably be the most expensive part of the trip, but if you look around and plan in advance, you can find reasonably priced tickets that cost about as much as a cross-country domestic flight. And yes, the flight to Bangkok is long, but if you have a while to spend there, it is well worth the trip. You can spend time exploring the hustle and bustle of the city, or you can head to one of the many nearby(ish) islands or “Kos,” such as Ko Samui, Ko Toa, and Ko Pagnan. You can take a short flight from Bangkok, or there are also buses and ferries. Once on the islands, you can hide away in your beachfront cabana or partake in some of the ample leisure activities and parties that are in the area. 2. Puerto Rico
