7 Grooming Tips for the Groom
Looking like your best self at the wedding isn?t just reserved for the bride. Grooms want to look good, too! In fact, now more than ever men are putting extra effort into their appearance for the big day. If you?re self-conscious about your looks, there’s lots you can do before the wedding to see a significant change, whether it’s getting rid of acne or whitening your teeth. However, it?s always better to start earlier than later. Here’s a few tips and tricks that will help you stand out (almost) as much as the bride.
1. Establish a Skin Care Routine
Everything starts with preventative care, so it?s important to establish a skin care routine first. This means investing in a proper face wash and moisturizer and using them both in the morning and before bed. An eye creme can be beneficial too, and a weekly scrub can refresh you like nothing else. Such products don?t have to be expensive, but they should be made for the face. Body wash, shampoo, or bar soap are a no-go if you want great skin. If you have a problem with acne (or if you want to avoid having a problem), consider a cleanser or treatment with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Make sure you wash your face after a heavy workout session, as sweat can clog your pores. And if you combine your skincare with a shower, always shampoo and condition first before washing your face with the proper products. Of course, if you have a serious problem with breakouts, a visit to a dermatologist can be useful...
