Goooood morninggggg!! We are kicking off the week with some pretty inspiration from Helen, editor of The Wedding Bazaar, fellow blogger and all round lovely lady. Helen’s blog is a lot more fashion led than SYGM so if you love all things sartorial then make sure you give her blog a look.
I love the richness of this shoot, the colours are gorgeous and the inspiration can easily be applied to your own wedding. Gems will be big in 2016, but even if the stones aren’t your thing, the colour palette they bring is stunning. Helen explains her inspiration behind the shoot below. Enjoy!

The shoot was inspired by my long love for gemstones and their respective meanings. On my own wedding day I carried rose quartz and moonstone in my bridal purse which are representative of love and passion. Â It was whilst explaining this to Laura Power Photography we hit upon the idea of a gemstone inspired wedding shoot. We envisioned dreamy soft pinks and deep amethyst purples to juxtapose perfectly with smokey charcoal hues and opulent golds.Â
Manorbier Castle is a wildly romantic family run wedding location and was simply perfect for our shoot. Perched on a rural clifftop, nestled just above a secluded beach with magnificent wild rolling waves it is simply breathtaking.
