For Rebecca and Connor, a laundry accident led to a life-changing introduction. During their junior year at Missouri State University, Rebecca flooded her washer, and the water flowed down into Connor?s room below. She showed up with a case of beer to apologize. The exchange turned into a friendship, which blossomed into a relationship, and after five and a half years of dating, they moved into their dream home in Kansas City. A week before closing, Connor surprised Rebecca with a proposal on their vacation in Charleston, South Carolina. Opera gloves, pearls, and vintage waves
Rebecca wore a timeless, mermaid-style dress by Mikaella Bridal with elbow-length opera gloves from Cornelia James and vintage waves in her hair. She embraced her love for pearls with pearl-accented ivory pumps, earrings, and jewelry. A ceremony with Old Hollywood style
Rebecca and Connor wanted an Old Hollywood wedding with a Great Gatsby-esque party. To accomplish this goal, their wedding day began with a ceremony that took place in the gothic-style St. Paul?s Episcopal Church featuring natural stone, wood, and romantic candlelight.
