How Connor and I met

Connor and my cousin, John, are best friends from high school. Connor and I met, over 5 years ago, when we were both at The House of Blues to watch my cousin’s band play at the I AM Fest. I was taking photos of the band with my new DSLR camera. Connor came up to me to ask me about my camera and my interest in photography. I know this sounds cheesy, but everything else in the room for me faded away when we were talking. We just kept talking and talking until my sister pulled me away. We both knew we had to see each other again. Which we did. For the next few weeks we would both hang out with John so that we could see each other. Then Connor asked me to get a drink and brought me to the Green Mill for our first date, to see Alfonso Pontecelli play some gypsy jazz. We went on a date once a week after that for like 5 weeks, then that turned into us hanging out everyday for 5 years…and then we got married. Our wedding day
