[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]I grew up in Virginia, but spent many summers and long weekends at my Nana?s second home in Edenton, North Carolina. Much of my wedding inspiration was drawn from the town of Edenton and the memories I created in spending so many summers there. Edenton has always had the ability to bring my family together in a way that is fun and relaxed. Our family and friends were a main focus in creating our vision; we wanted an atmosphere that allowed our guests to slow down, relax and enjoy being together. Our aesthetic vision was that of a “coastal garden party” and one that played off the natural beauty and classic elements of the Historic Barker House (or venue) in downtown Edenton.
