Our vendor guide member Amorology Weddings worked with birthday gal Carol’s family to bring her childhood memories to life in an 80th birthday party inspired by Coney Island. The details are simply incredible, and even better, it’s FULL of nods back to Carol’s childhood summers spent hanging out with friends, attending clam bakes, and splashing around by the water. How sweet are these invitations by Grey and Cake with calligraphy by Four Things Paper" The invite reads, “The Carol Times: Celebrating 80 Amazing Years!” and has a note to “wear your coastal retro best: plaids, stripes, and polos” for the occasion. Who wouldn’t be excited about an upcoming party with invitations like these"

Amorology and the team made such good use of today’s biggest design and wedding trends, like waves, stripes, and color blocking, in channeling a retro beach vibe in a modern way.

Why yes, that IS a giant lobster surrounded by hanging produce and dried florals. Native Poppy nailed it with the Coney Island inspired tones.
