A design and architecture inspired real wedding at the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport

Remember this secret garden wedding" And how about these elopement photos" Well, Sascha + Jacob’s wedding at the TWA Hotel is no exception. The bride is the director of James Cohan Gallery and her groom is the co-founder of architecture firm Ideas of Order, so it’s no wonder they executed such a rad design-focused wedding (as inspired by the venue’s original designer Eero Saarinen). The team at The Get Together Events helped them bring their vision to life, while Bloom Bloom supplied the freshest, most vibrant florals the space had ever seen.
They kicked off their wedding weekend with a welcome dinner at Golden Unicorn Restaurant in Chinatown.

Sascha and Jacob were inspired by so much of the venue: the details and lines of the building, the way the light plays off its curved walls, the timeless feel. Walking through the TWA Hotel is a transportive, special experience, and their wedding felt very much the same.
