A DIY-lover’s dream wedding at Deepwood Museum & Gardens

Celeste and Chris met at Chris’s birthday party after a mutual friend invited Celeste, but it wasn?t until a few months later when the same mutual friend asked her to join Chris?s karaoke night that things started to progress. After an unexpectedly fun night, they exchanged phone numbers over Venmo, and the rest was history! Chris shared that on date three, he knew: ?In spending time with [Celeste], I saw that she showed grace when I was brash, demonstrated patience when I was restless, and saw the best in everyone (literally, everyone!) when I expressed skepticism. I knew that Celeste would always push me to be a better person. Four years later, she continues to challenge me positively, and I have grown and matured in ways I thought were not possible.” Keep scrolling to see how their wedding at Deepwood Museum and Gardens – singlehandedly designed and planned by Celeste – came together, all captured on camera by Bethany Michaela Studio.
A quaint museum venue
Celeste and Chris said “I do” at the Deepwood Museum and Gardens in Salem, Oregon. The quaint, historic house also incorporated delicate gardens that were perfect for the garden-party inspired wedding theme.
Custom, hand-painted invitations
For the invitations, bride Celeste hand-painted the green arch and floral motifs used in all the paper goods and signs, and her talented father turned them into a gorgeous suite of invitations, thanks to the help of Paz Design Group.
