Our wedding colors were inspired by Sofia Coppola’s ‘Marie Antoinette’ and were ivory, baby pink, baby blue, lavender, mint, red, and yellow.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]My vision for our wedding was very clear from the start and came from one of my favorite movies – Sofia Coppola’s ‘Marie Antoinette’ mixed with a little bit of fairytale. I love the soft, dreamy colors and timeless beauty of the film and wanted to draw on that but also give it a fairytale edge (and of course no beheading). We hung hundreds of strands of fairy lights and crystal chandeliers from the ceiling of our tent to emulate the hall of mirrors at Versailles, and our color palette and floral design came from the wallpaper in Marie’s bedroom. For the fairytale element we leaned heavily on the natural beauty of my parents backyard. We covered the trees outside their home in fairy lights and lit the pathway across the small ...
