A family-centric DIY North Carolina wedding with rustic and romantic details
If you’re on the hunt for thoughtful ways to personalize your wedding, look no further than Elle and Reagan’s romantic nuptials at The White Crow among the mountains of North Carolina. Every detail had a story behind it, all developed with “their people” in mind as they celebrated I Do with a “mountainside feast” that culminated in a killer dance party, sparkler sendoff, and creative getaway. The Ceremony
Reagan?s father, a pastor, was the officiant, a bagpiper (Jon Shell) played at her father?s request, Elle carried a blue handkerchief that once belonged to her grandmother, Eleanor (her namesake), and wore a bracelet, which was a family heirloom, on her wrist. Even their dog, Lily, took part in the ceremony. The couple selected meaningful verses and poetry, which close friends recited. Lastly, their vows were handwritten and while they hadn?t seen each other?s beforehand, both went together perfectly sharing similar promises.
