A fashion designer’s wedding in Paris
We have the chicest LA-to-Paris wedding for you this morn’. Our bride Jessie is a fashion designer behind The Mighty Company and her guy Davan manages the company’s operations. If you?re familiar with the brand?s vibrant (and beyond cool) leather jackets, you won?t be surprised to hear that their wedding theme was ?French disco??complete with the raddest combination of metallic silvers and French blues. Thanks to Nancy of Fête in France and Marcus Meisler (a talented fashion photographer, if you can?t tell!) for sharing:
Jessie says, I use the 17th and 18th century French architecture as inspiration for my designs so I fell in love the Le Pavillon de Musique de la Comtesse du Barry the moment I saw it. It felt like it was a dream. The venue allowed the possibility to do everything there. I got ready in one of the salons, the ceremony took place in the front courtyard of the Pavillon, cocktails on the side deck overlooking the Seine, and dinner and dancing in the inside salons.
We’re talking a fashion designer bride here, so you’re probably wondering about the story behind her dress. Jessie knew she’d want to create her own gown to fit the venue and overall vibe of the wedding, so she worked with L?ezu Bridal Atelier here in LA to create a dress that channeled the mix of old and new with a modern fit that managed to incorporate white silk charmeuse and hand-stitched French embroidery.
French blue just may be our new fave hue...
