A Free-Spirited Elopement on the Volcanic Island of Lanzarote
The island of Lanzarote ? one of the Canary islands, a Spanish territory off the coast of West Africa ? is an intriguing place with over 300 volcanic cones. The landscape has an otherworldly appearance, with its black, red and yellow soils, juxtaposed by the palm-filled valley. Hope + Lachlan traveled all the way from Australia to elope at this incredible destination. Two of their friends who were living in Mexico joined them to be their witnesses. The ceremony took place by a cliff of black rocks, and then the couple drove around the island with Marcos Sanchez Photography for some stunning portraits.Â
