Airbrush Wedding Makeup

After a quick pit stop at Mama Dreamcatcher?s to get my dress, we arrived at Linden Hall around 11:15 AM. Our vendors weren?t arriving until 1:00 PM, so there was plenty of time to relax, eat lunch, and set up a few things. Our ceremony took place in the garden of the Mansion at Linden Hall, so the ?getting ready? area was the upper floor of the building. We had lots of fun exploring the gorgeous rooms!

Before I knew it, though, makeup, our photographers, and our florist all showed up. In hindsight…it?s definitely best to stagger these things because I felt a tad bit overwhelmed when everyone started asking me questions. After a few moments of giving directions, I sat down and began to get my makeup done!

Side note: I didn?t get my makeup done at the salon because 1) I booked this makeup artist almost a year in advance, not knowing if the hair salon we were going to would have airbrush makeup capabilities or not. And 2) I wanted to have my makeup done as close to pictures as possible so it looked fresh. I don?t regret this at all because Joy, from Beauty By Joy, is one of the best makeup artists on the planet. I very, very rarely wear makeup, so I was afraid I would come out looking like someone I didn?t even recognize. I asked for just a polished version of myself, and that is EXACTLY what I got.
