A Midsummer Night?s Dreamcatcher: All Good Gifts, Bride and Groom Edition!

Bride and Groom Wedding Gifts
My guess is no matter how meticulously you plan your wedding day, inevitably something always ends up being forgotten. For us (or honestly, me) it was remembering to make a plan for our gift exchange. I love the tradition of the couple getting each other presents (again, gifts are my love language!). We didn?t want to stretch the budget too much further, so we decided to set a price cap of $40ish.
We both remembered to actually buy the gifts, and even brought them to the venue. What we did forget was to decide how the opening would go. In my head I meant for Mr. D to open it when the photographer arrived, and I would do the same. Problem was I totally forgot to mention this to the groomsmen I asked to deliver Mr. Dreamcatcher?s gift, my groom?or even our photographer—ha. With how hectic things started to get in the morning, I honestly completely forgot about it. When we left off, we had just done our adorable first look.
After some brief catching up about our mornings, Mr. Dreamcatcher asked if I wanted to open my presents. Oh yeah. Those. I couldn?t believe I?d forgotten about this and had a moment of ?Crap?what did I do with yours"!? He had our bases covered and brought it too. It was just the tiniest bit awkward doing it outside because there was no surface to lay the box down on as I took off the paper, or even a place to put torn paper for that matter—haha. Â Nonetheless, I?m glad it?s captured on film!
