A Midsummer Night?s Dreamcatcher: Dancing Through Life

A Midsummer Night’s Dreamcatcher: Wedding Cookie Bar Reception
The whole day went screaming by, but once we hit our reception it felt like time started moving doubly fast. After everyone was in their seats, we made our grand entrance.
Shortly after we sat down, Bridesmaid Ravenclaw kicked off the reception with a lovely toast to the two of us. We didn?t have a best man or maid of honor, but Ravenclaw has been there since day uno of our relationship, so we felt she would be great at toasting the both of us.
Ravenclaw did great and had us all cracking up. She told some funny anecdotes, and finished off by doing some ?math.? Basically, she took important numbers in our relationship like 10 (number of years together) 25 (the date that day), 28 (the day we started dating), etc., and bought us a Powerball ticket! Unfortunately, we didn?t win anything, but it was a fun spin on the traditional speech!
Our pastor said blessing, and it was time to chow down! The first course was wedding soup, followed by a mixed green salad. After that, guests made their way up to the buffet and had a choice of fresh stuffed breast of chicken with natural gravy, angus N.Y. strip loin, seafood newburg, garlic mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans with sautéed mushrooms. Choosing a menu that meets everyone?s tastes and dietary restrictions is SO hard, but I think we nailed it. I still get lots of compliments about our wedding, but none so frequent as how amazing the food was. I was especial...
