In today?s world, more often than not, couples getting married might already have a child. In those cases, the role of the child at a wedding is quite often one of ring bearer or flower girl. Myself and a very talented team of vendors are exploring the motheraughter relationship in this heartfelt editorial we are calling Song in our Heart. It is about a mother spending some time with her daughter before walking down the aisle.
Standing on sheer cliffs wearing an amazing gown, mom is teaching her daughter that life is all about adventure and that the only thing that matters is love; to be grounded, but never to lose the inner child. The soft and romantic texture of the organza gowns and the little girl’s dress are an extreme contrast with the harsh sea, waves. and cliffs. The floral design, together with the vintage wind music instrument and calligraphy, complete this elegant and dramatic story. This editorial was inspired by a poem that my husband came up with one day (funnily enough I didn’t realize he had a creative bone in his body): “With song in our heart, adventure at our feet, mothers to teach that love has unconditional reach”.
