a rustic, winter DIY village hall wedding | uk wedding blog
Morning! We have skipped a few seasons and headed straight to winter today. The reason I love this wedding is that Rebecca and Neil managed to achieve such a pretty day on a budget of 5k. I love the natural foliage as decor, and the DIY touches but what I really liked was how gorgeous Neil’s suit from River Island looks. I have blogged a lot of weddings and every now and again I am taken back by what a good job high street shops can do. I hope you enjoy this wedding and can take away some ideas if you’re on a budget too.

Rotherwick Village Hall
We wanted a rustic winter wedding theme – inspired by beautiful foliage and ferns. We found some vintage looking tealight holders online and some candleholders to match from B&Q. We used some my old books to fill the windowsills because I?m a huge bookworm and it also added to the vintage look.
Bride made all the invitations, place-cards, seating plan, order of service and thank you cards
Floribunda Rose did the bouquets and the centerpieces. Bride?s mother did the rest of the arrangements with the baby?s-breath
A family friend made it for us ? we had carrot cake for the bottom and lemon cake for the top!
