Morning!! How was your weekend" Are you ready to face the week" Would some pretty on the way to work help ease you in a bit better" Hey, at least its a 4 day week! Woo! This shoot is gorgeeeouuus. Oxford has never looked so pretty, Cate does a great job at explaining her thoughts and visions for the day. But really, old England at its finest, topped off with beautiful wedding pretty. It’s always going to be glorious. List of the talented suppliers at the end of the post. I know I shouldn’t choose, but if I had to…that second dress, divine!

Oxford is an amazing place to get married. It’s atmospheric, beautiful and very English. The aim of the shoot was to create some inspiring, summery English, with Oxford as the bright and creamy backdrop. We wanted to incorporate some of the Oxford streets and architecture-Trinity Gate, Corpus Christi College and some of the small streets feature in the set.  

 The colour palette was very important. We wanted something warm, which would complement the creamy yellows and greys we would be shooting against a lot. I instructed the florist Suzanne to create two different bouquets-a bright, warm bouquet with complimentary oranges and yellows and some contrasting reds to ‘pop’. The second bouquet was a little darker in colour and inspired by Pantone’s colour of the year marsala. We wanted this one to have a wilder feel.
