Even more impressive, they managed to make their wedding as sustainable as possible, with the help of handmade details, and of course, their solar powered venue!

From their photographer, Sylvie Rosokoff: Gina is a knitter and founder of Soft Haus, a line of sustainably made luxury knitwear based out of LA (originally Brooklyn), and everything in her life is incredibly colorful. She and her now-husband, Alex, met at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and have been together for over a decade. Alex is a freelance film handler, projectionist and artist (and was actually featured on the Netflix hit show The Circle); they love cats, art, design, laughing, each other, and it all came through in technicolor at their wedding at SmogShoppe in Culver City (a venue that’s 100% run on solar power, in another nod to their passion for sustainability).
