The Quirky Details
Some of my favorite parts of our wedding were the quirky details that didn’t fall along the lines of ?traditional? wedding style. We served chicken and waffles and crab cakes and old-bay waffles (a Maryland take on the normal C and W) for dinner, my girls wore off the shoulder and low-back/side cut-out dresses with a pattern print, and we were married in the woods standing on top of the rug that I grew up dancing and playing on in the living room with my sisters- as our family and friends watched sitting on beautiful cedar log benches.
Ceremony Tequila Shots
One of my favorite personal touches occurred during the ceremony? we (bride and groom) poured liquid into two vintage glasses that were set up near our macrame altar and none of our guests knew what it was that we were pouring. The ceremony continued on and after our first kiss, the Pastor announced, ?And now Brandon and Rudy will begin their marriage the way they began their relationship? with a shot of tequila!?
