From the Bride… My family is Egyptian and my husband’s family is Iranian. We met in New York and wanted our wedding to reflect not just our past but also our present. To do this we brought people together in a space that embodies what we love about our city. The Foundry has history, modernity, character, elegance and warmth all in one beautiful space. It was exactly what we were looking for.
As an art director, I designed the stationery myself which helped me set the overall look and feel early on. To influence my palette of colors, textures, and flavors I found inspiration in summer botanicals, particularly olive, rosemary and eucalyptus.
