Chapel Length Lace Edged Veil
I?ve blogged about my dress and accessories, but I felt that the veil deserved its own post. I mean really, when will you ever in your life wear a veil except for your wedding day" I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, but it was a bit of a drama to finally get it into my hands.

I knew I wanted a long, single-tier veil, partially edged in lace. I didn?t think I wanted the full cathedral length, so I started searching for a chapel-length veil, in the hope that it would fall just outside the train on my dress. I didn?t like piping or lace all along the veil like a mantilla, but I also didn?t want just cut tulle.

I found a woman?s shop in which she hand-crafted veils to custom specifications. I contacted her and explained what I was looking for, and she was very helpful and responsive. She sent me some samples of tulle and different laces so I could compare them to my dress. I placed my order and was so excited and smug about getting a Custom Veil, capital C, capital V.
