Have you ever wondered what it looks like when a wedding florist gets married" Well wonder no more! Today’s wedding features bride Kat who owns Georgie’s Florist in Reading. The reception took place back at their home and the whole day was brimming with beautiful flowers, family and friends.

Georgies the Florist, Reading www.georgiesflorists.co.uk Brides own flower shop, helped by a team of friends and family even the groom! My Mum and my friend Mel made my bouquet, apparently its bad luck to make your own, I chose every flower that I loved, it had roses, orchids, sweet peas, peonies, berrys, ivy trailing foliage, I pulled out the flowers I wanted in my bouquet from what id ordered and told them I wanted it big and they did an amazing job, it smelt amazing, I put it on my nans grave the day after the wedding as I didn?t want to throw it. I made the bridesmaids bouquets and buttonholes and we all worked as a team to create 12 table centres, two top table designs, one floor runner, 40 jars and vessels filled with flowers to scatter round the reception and garden and the house, we decorated the lych gate and the church door with an archway made of hydrangeas, roses, stocks, larkspur, peonies and ivy we also made topiary trees out of buckets, cement, broomsticks and used oasis balls and chicken wire to make arrangements to line the aisle with, using hydrangea, lilies, roses and delphiniums.
