I have a lot of fun getting dressed as normal Ms. Dove, and I knew that being bride Ms. Dove would be even more fun. I’ve always been one for bright colors, fun patterns, and lots of accessories. I would say I tend to lean toward the Phoebe Buffay way of accessorizing, with lots of rings and necklaces and layers of scarves and stuff. I’m not a subtle person by any means when it comes to the way I dress.

My dress has a lot going on with it, but I knew I wanted to add some fun accessories to really make my bridal outfit more me. I’m not going to go over the top, but I have decided to rock a big necklace, as well as some earrings (I have multiple lobe rings, so I plan on going simple with the stones, since 10 earrings is already a statement), and I’ll also be rocking a cathedral length veil.
My necklace was a gift from a friend who makes jewelry. It’s a large flower bib-style necklace that I can’t wait to wear. I don’t have a good photo of it, but I am going to do a post about it and the bridesmaids’ accessories together, since they all go together. Rest assured it makes me feel pretty.
The veil was a choice I made early on. It’s so impractical, and yet it’s so fun to wear. There’s something about putting a piece of tulle on your head to make you feel special!
