Morning, friends! Today is a very special day here at the 100LC HQ because we get to finally share the recap of Jasmine and Alain’s incredible New Orleans wedding. You might recognize this sweet pair as the winners of the completely Free Wedding Contest with Ace Hotel New Orleans and Yeah Weddings! and The Nouveau Romantics. While most couples take a year to plan a wedding, these two trusted the team to bring their vision to life, including their modern, elegant wedding fashion. Here in part 1 of their wedding, we’ve got all the deets behind the wedding party’s looks:

First up, a little background on Jasmine + Alain’s wedding style… Two Brooklynites that share a love of film, their wedding drew from their Haitian and African roots to create a colorful and elegant celebration in the heart of NOLA. There’s a long history of vibrant and energetic folk art from Haiti, and we took the color palette from a modern piece by Dieudonné Cédor that grounded Jasmine’s love for purple and Alain’s love of yellow while adding shades of melon, ochre, sienna, and deeper plum.  
The groom had a clear vision for a modern light grey suit that Bindle & Keep brought to life in a refined, elegant way. Jasmine wore a fitted, trumpet Allure gown.

The talented Kim Starr Wise was behind the wedding florals, adding in those pops of melon + deep plum mentioned above.
