“2015 was the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s iconic story ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and I wanted to do something to commemorate it. My vintage china has been used by many brides and grooms with an Alice theme and my collection of items really lends itself to a whimsical style. I wanted to showcase the north east and also the season to put a slightly different spin on the classic imagery so I set up an outdoor tea party as well as a tea party in bed.”
