Amanda’s master bathroom design inspiration
Hia Cakies! A couple of us are currently doing some renovations on our home, so we did a poll on Instagram last week and wondered if you’d like us to show more interiors inspiration here and the answer was overwhelmingly YES, so here we go! I’ve been under a big construction project at my home for months and months now (which feels like years and years). We had to tear out our underground pool (sniffle) to make room for an addition, including a larger master bedroom, a new master bath, laundry room and renovated kids bathroom.
Our backyard isn’t that large, so there was no room to build out back. We kept our adjoining jacuzzi though, so that makes it a little less painful. I’ll be doing a post later on backyard designs for smaller spaces, but first let’s talk bathroom (my favorite part!). I’m such a sucker for all the tiles and patterns and hardware that goes into a bathroom design, so this project was right up my alley. I wanted a striking design but relaxing and spa-like. Here are some favorite photos I’ve collected along the way.
I’m so into the marble and gold fixture combos here, with a bit of edge. Le sigh.

But I also love raw natural materials like concrete to give it that Italian bathhouse feel. Can they mix" We shall see.
