Ambika and Robert’s Bright and Beautiful Indian Taiwanese Fusion Wedding in Texas by Studio Uma
Today we have THE most colourful and bright wedding we have had on the blog for a while. Ambika and Robert were married on the 3rd April 2016 at Pecan Springs Ranch in Texas. Ambika is Indian American and Robert is Taiwanese American, so they wanted to make sure that both of their cultures were represented well in their big day. The results are an amazing fusion of colour, culture, decoration, the most amazing ceremony and stunning outfits. Big thanks to Studio Uma for the wonderful images.

Robert and Ambika live in the San Francisco Bay Area, but decided to return to Robert’s hometown of ustin for their wedding because of its friendly people, amazing food and drink, live music, quirky culture, and beautiful landscapes. They chose Pecan Springs Ranch in hill country for their venue because of the incredible outdoor space with plenty of shade, flowers, comfortable bride and groom suites, a large indoor space for their large crowd, and a very capable and communicative management team. Ambika is Indian American and Robert is Taiwanese American. They both love their native cultures and Austin culture and it was important that they shared this with our guests. Their wedding ceremony was Indian and Austin-themed: they had a modern yet traditional Hindu ceremony during which Robert rode a longhorn steer to the altar.
