An airy light pink Indian fusion wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains
After meeting during undergrad, moving to Chicago, and welcoming their yellow lab Olive into the family, Anjali said yes when Ian proposed on a rooftop surrounded by candles, flowers, and string lights in late March of 2021. The couple ultimately said “I do” at their effortlessly glam Indian-fusion wedding at The Ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains that included a 360-degree view of the mountain ranges of North Carolina, all captured on camera by Anastasiia Photography.
The Ridge: A European-inspired chateau
The Ridge, a French and Spanish-inspired chateau in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, provided an intimate location where the couple embraced an overall heavenly outdoor vibe. The event was planned with the help of Mingle Events and catered by Bhog and 50/Fifty The Art of Dessert.
A peach, gold, and mint color palette
Soft neutrals and a palette of peach, gold, and mint were detailed in the wedding party?s traditional Indian attire, and with florals in ivory, blush, and lavender, Anjali?s bright pink lehenga by Jayanti Reddy made for a captivating contrast against the misty mountain feel.
A special ceremony detail: Flower petals
