Ancient Greek castle elopement ideas
We’re sure starting 2018 off on a high note, thanks to this morning’s adventurous Scotland wedding and now an ethereal elopement inspiration set at the historic the castle of Methoni in Greece that Vasia Photography sent our way. Spectacular views, romantic bridal fashion, and one magical floral backdrop, coming right up…
The inspiration, from Spread Love Events… We wanted to a create a romantic and whimsical setting for this elopement story in Greece. Set in a historic castle on the Mediterranean Sea during the final days of summer, with the castle closed to all but the couple. Can you imagine a more romantic setting" For the ceremony, the floral team at Celsia Floral built a growing arch of locally foraged olive branch and other greens, accented with fresh blooms.
What did we tell ya about those peachy blooms"
A private dinner for two followed, set overlooking the ruins and sea. We layered natural Belgian white linen with a delicate chiffon overlay from Stella Wolfe to create a soft table with the chiffon blowing softly in the breeze. Tones of blue, blush, and creamy yellow came together in the florals, while the place settings were simple and elegant made up of vintage silverware and hand etched olive botanicals on the plates.
A low back and a loose a loose chignon like the hairstyle Frantzeska Koukoula whipped up are always a romantic combo.
Can’t get over this arch!
