Hello, hive! Our tech and admin teams have been hard at work behind the scenes to reorganize our Boards subcategories to get rid of some extraneous boards and add new boards to fill in some gaps. We took a look at the suggestions in our Ideas section and in some cases added new boards based on user suggestions.
Without further ado, here are the changes that have been made:
Wedding Related
We added a Guests subboard in Wedding Related to talk about all issues related to guests, such as what to wear to weddings you’re invited to, how to deal with sticky RSVP situations, and how to decide on a guest list.
We also added an Engagement board to talk about all things engagement after the proposal, including engagement shoots, engagement parties, and early planning questions/discussions. We merged our Dance board into Music, so now all dance and music threads will live in Music.
We eliminated our Media board. We combined Photo and Video into a new Photo/Video board for all videography and photography discussions because the Video board was underused.
Not Wedding Related
We eliminated our Books board and added an Entertainment board where bees can talk about all things TV, books, internet, etc., instead of all of these discussions going into The Lounge.
Nesting
We added a Finances board for all not-wedding-related discussions of money.
We added an Adoption & Surrogacy board.
After lots of discussion with the community and among the admin team, we added a No Kids board. T...
