In the early stages of planning we knew our honeymoon was a priority, budget-wise. Mr. Dreamcatcher has never been out of the country sans a visit to our neighbors in the Great White North, and I have an insatiable thirst for all new places. How to narrow all our options down" With one of my favorite things, LISTS! Mr. Dreamcatcher started with these:

Warm
Soft, white sand
Crystal clear water
Major relaxation

Here?s what I added:

Good SCUBA diving Some adventure activities

At least 1o days
Avoid sargassum problem (This is a seaweed that was really bad in 2014, but seems to not be an issue now.)

It?s so dumb, but I put a lot of pressure on myself to make this trip special. After all, this is our honeymoon! I want us to look back at this trip in 30 years and remember what a joyous season in our lives this was. One resort kept popping up in all the bridal magazines, TV ads, and even the boards here on Weddingbee…I?m of course talking about the infamous Sandals!
