The first pretty detail that caught our eye was of course this cake by Bayard Gâteaux.
Perhaps it’s because the winters in Canada are so harsh that spring is so important here. The ambiance imagined was to be soft and bright, like nature waking up after the long winter. A sort of hymn to this season of many promises. For the shoot, we aimed for soft and faded colours, the palette being mainly based on a dusty blue and blush. Here and there, elements with bolder colors were incorporated to bring a beautiful contrast and a festive touch.

The groom’s deep mauve suit is a prime example of those more bold, contrasting elements the team was going for.
