The Proposal
Mark proposed to me on our anniversary on a night out in Glasgow. We were going to see our favourite artist, Ben Howard, and he asked me to marry him before we went to the gig. It?s my favourite memory of all time (after the wedding). The Vision
We just wanted great food, drink and no stress! And that?s exactly what we had.
Budget
I think in the end it was around six thousand pounds.
The Venue
We chose the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club just outside Edinburgh. The hotel is steeped in history, with a small, beautiful church on the grounds as well.
The grounds are huge with plenty of photo opportunities. We also liked that we could stay at the hotel and have the whole day take place there. We also spent an extra night after the wedding night there to relax and take it all in.
