Julie tells it, Being Danish, candlelight has always been an intrinsic presence in my life since birth, we celebrate with candle light, the everyday and the special days alike, the cosiness and warmth emitted often goes hand in hand with the Danish concept of Hygge. The idea that everyday actions and plans can be made just a little more special by intentionally embracing cosiness. Lighting the fire place, using the ?good china?, opening that good bottle of wine, being present and engaging with the present instead of always looking to the future or lamenting the past.
