Taking engagement pictures abroad is becoming more popular with couples. We wanted to create this destination wedding shoot as inspiration for those couples. It’s a wonderful experience for the couple, since they not only get to travel to a city of their choice, but also get to capture beautiful memories with gorgeous backdrops.
We wanted this editorial to have an overall feeling of being elegant, timeless, and full of grace. From the dress, hair, makeup, and florals, we wanted it to emit a feeling of class and sophistication. We chose the beautiful Greystone Mansion as the backdrop to showcase the beauty and love of the couple captured. It truly proved to be the perfect place to tie everything together with its breathtaking architecture and lavish greenery. We chose a real life couple for these portraits. They embody this idea of a destination engagement shoot as one of them is originally from Italy, and the other one is from the Netherlands. Not only does their well-travelled life add to this inspiration shoot, they both radiate a flood of love and beauty that will inspire everyone.
