Josh and Jamie are a gorgeous and outdoorsy couple. After visiting Josh?s aunt and uncle?s house, they immediately knew it was the place for their beautiful easy going wedding. Provincial charm is how we would describe this day. The wedding was very budget friendly and DIY.
A neutral color palette, incorporating blue and grey tones helped encapsulate a relaxed, but elegant vintage feeling, while taking advantage of the beautiful landscape and surrounding ourselves with a mix of wildflowers used from a local farmer?s market and the Metropolitan Market. Meaningful Getaway Car
The house?s location on the island gave us a particularly whimsical feeling that inspired us. The story behind all of the family heirlooms, from our wedding rings which belonged to his grandparents to all of the decorations, including the classic Dodge truck, is what made this day so unique. The truck was alive with memories for Josh, his dad and uncle. It was the first vehicle that all of them had ever driven. We were thrilled that it could be a part of our big day!

One thing I would change is that I would have gotten a wedding planner to reduce the stress of planning, setting up and prepping decorations that our families and I had to do.
