Amp Up Your Skin Care
One of the downsides of getting married in the winter months is that your skin may look duller and feel much dryer than it does in the summer.
Combat this by exfoliating your face once a week or once a fortnight in the run-up to your wedding. My personal favourite is the Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant, but the Sanctuary Spa Radiance Exfoliator is a brilliant budget option. Follow up straight away with a rich cream such as Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream or a nourishing oil such as Caudalie Vinosource Overnight Recovery Oil, which contains grape oil, jojoba oil and rose oil. If you find that the area around your eyes is particularly dry, an eye cream such as Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue will be your best friend in the winter months.
Re-Think Your Base
Full-coverage, thick foundation can look rather obvious in cold daylight, so I recommend using a lighter weight base in the winter months such as Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation, which comes in 12 shades.
