Hands up… who’s excited for the new Beauty and the Beast film" I think the original animation is my fave Disney film and I cannot wait to see the new movie. I may even have to convice my eldest little boy to accompany me to the pictures to view it on the big screen.
Anyway, I digress, because I have some super beautiful images to share with you today. The love story from the film and the eerie mansion, is perfect inspiration for a wedding. Dark, decadent and atmospheric. The details in this shoot would be perfect for an alternative wedding, or a really luxe autumn/winter celebration. “Tale as old as time… This shoot was inspired by Beauty and the Beast, but in the least Disney way possible! We wanted it to be opulent and full of jewel colours so we teamed vintage crockery with contemporary florals and super chic bridalwear. Starting off in the chapel at Arnos Vale Cemetery, our bride Belle lounges in her dramatic couture gown from Bowen-Dryden, surrounded by books, balloons and foliage as the sun streams through the huge windows. Belle then goes for a wander through the grounds in House of Ollichon’s ‘Stevenson’ outfit, accompanied by two giant balloons, one containing real rose petals and the other gilded in copper foil.
