Before the Wedding Interview
Following bees before me, I thought this would be a good time for the Eel edition (hence, Eel-dition) of the Before & After Questionnaire.
1. What is your biggest priority for the wedding"
This sounds so cliché, but I really want all our guests to have a good time and remember our wedding for years to come. Mr. Eel and I are putting a lot of effort into making sure everyone will enjoy the food (and there are options for everyone’s differing tastes/diets), have their alcoholic beverage of choice, enjoy the program, and overall make it a memorable event.
2. What is your biggest concern for the day"
My biggest concern is the weather. August is typically the hottest month in Hawaii and very humid. August is also during hurricane season, so we’re faced with both weather extremes. To top it all off, our wedding is on the typically “rainy” side of the island, so even if we aren’t faced with a hurricane we can still expect rain. While we have a tent for our reception, we don’t have a real rainy-day plan in the event that we get a huge downpour. We knew this when choosing our venue and are praying for good weather, but this is still a very real possibility.
3. What DIY project do you care about the most"
