With the wedding only a few months away, I thought this would be a good time to fill out the Before & After Questionnaire created by Mrs. Barn and Mrs. Border Collie! Part of me wishes I had filled this out shortly after we got engaged (almost two years ago at this point!). I feel like my answers are drastically different now because I?ve had SO much time to reconsider things and focus on what?s actually important/feasible. Here are my current thoughts, though.
1. What is your biggest priority about (or for") the event (e.g., catering, photography)"
May 2014 Miss Dreamcatcher would ask if ?everything? is an appropriate answer because I was way more concerned about the details at first. Now, I just want our guests to have a KICK ASS time. I?ve spent more hours than I can count choosing a menu I think everyone will love, finding the right DJ, fretting over cake flavors, planning some fun little details, etc. I pray that it wasn?t all in vain, and that our guests enjoy themselves from the minute they sit their butts in the ceremony chairs to when they stumble back to their hotel rooms after the last song.
We also put a lot of money into capturing alllllllll the memories with a top-notch photographer and awesome videographer. I could look at wedding photography all day, and it?s probably embarrassing the amount of randos’ wedding videos I?ve watched.
