Right now we’re kind of in a lull of planning. Our invites are the next thing to do, but I’ll be waiting till they’re out to share those. Even with only five and a half months to plan, things to tend to be “hurry up and wait.” We’re plowing ahead on the DIYs, and the big things are all planned and paid for at this point. I know things will come fast in February/March, with invites and tastings and trials and alterations, so I’m kind of enjoying the little time where I don’t have to focus on the wedding all the time. Since we’re not doing a ton, I decided to join in on the Before and After Questionnaire that some bees have done before me.
What?s your biggest priority for the wedding"
Currently, my biggest priority is making sure the day/weekend that people are here is fun and enjoyable. I love that people are traveling to us, and I want to make sure that we’re gracious hosts and make the weekend one to remember. I think decor is another big priority, as I’m working with some blank slates with our venues, so I’m hopeful that my choices will make a big impact.
