Three years after a private wedding ceremony at the bride’s parents’ home, Jennifer and Martin decided to have another wedding celebration at Locusts on Hudson that focused on their marriage, their family, and their closest friends. After exchanging vows near the waterfront, they made their way to the property’s barn for a cozy reception that was full of rustic décor and impressive floral arrangements from Bourgeon Floral. Because the bride knew she didn’t want to wear white, she chose a color palette of blush and grey tones to combine a glamorous vibe with natural, rustic charm. Locusts on Hudson, Staatsburg, New York

Locusts on Hudson was really the only venue I considered. A friend knew I wanted a barn and water views, and suggested I look at it. I saw it and fell in love. I would move in tomorrow if that were an option!

We had legally wed three years ago in a small private ceremony at my parent’s house officiated by a family friend who is a judge. This time we wanted to make it a celebration of our marriage, family, and love for all our friends and family to witness. We wrote our own vows and had our dear friend, Aditya, officiate the ceremony.
