You’ve heard us say it before, but we’ll say it again, we think it’s so, so important to keep on documenting your love, even after the big day has passed! So it should come as no surprise that we’re big fans of this absolutely stunning engagement session, captured by the ever-amazing India Earl! India backs up our love of remembering your journey + adventures through the years by adding, I’ve found, as a photographer, that there’s so much more to anniversary shoots than other shoots I’ve done. There’s that level of comfort and trust between the two of them, which really helps bring out both the romantic and goofy sides of the couple! I had shot Celeste and Andrew’s wedding last year (see their gorgeous wedding portraits here!!), and this year they wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary with a road trip through the desert for an anniversary session. The day after their one year mark, they woke up at 3 in the morning to meet me in the middle of the desert out near Page, Arizona. We spontaneously chose locations, pulling over wherever the light was beautiful…
